change the domain / workgroup with regedit

Hi there,

Can someone tell me how can I change the domain / workgroup with regedit and
if it possible to to move from domain to workgroup in the registry (not with
gui).

Hi Gili,
The values you're looking for can be found at the following registry
location although i strongly recommend you avoid doing these changes through
the registry.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

The GUI option does a few other options besides adding the computer to the
domain, one of them for example is creating certain security groups, an
action i don't beleive the registry can manipulate.
